HIV Peer Support Group
"Finding a safe space. It's working for us. Joining a peer support group when you are HIV+ can do a lot of things. Support groups give you the chance to meet others with HIV. exchange ideas, and make new friends. You may be suprised to find how your experience can help others. You can share your feelings in a safe environment. Groups meet for about two hours a week and run for eight to ten weeks. Anything said in the group, stays in the group. New groups are forming all the time. Call us (03) 483 6763 to find out more. HIV education project team. HIV + safe space. Victorian AIDS Council /Gay Men's Health Centre"
